Asylum Speakers

After working closely with Jaz on the visual identity of The Worldwide Tribe podcast and Instagram community, I was honoured to design Jaz's first book, Asylum Speakers. The book brings together the stories of 31 individuals whose lives have been shaped by displacement. The design concept aimed to celebrate global cultures, drawing inspiration from diverse shapes, colours, and textures. We created 31 unique collages, each one reflecting the essence of the individual stories and their rich cultural heritage.

Milla has the incredible ability to execute ideas into reality, in a way that always comes out better than I could possibly have imagined. Her depth of understanding and listening are truly unprecedented, and her ability to deliver tangible results is like no other designer I have ever worked with. She is truly remarkable, not just as an artist and creative, but at taking a concept to completion at a really high standard. I have had the pleasure of working with Milla for years across projects ranging from social media to websites to an in-print physical book, and I couldn't ask for a better working relationship. I look forward to creating more magic with her in the future.
